Areti OIKONOMOY has studied Law at the University of Athens (LLB) and also holds a Master in Law, in the field of Public Law (University of Athens, Faculty of Law), and a Master of Science in International and European Economics. She is also a certified lawyer registered to the Athens Bar Association since 2008 specialising in public law and has handled numerous legal cases concerning the field of public law and particularly in the area of human rights and protection of personal data before the Greek Administrative Authorities and Administrative Courts. She has a significant experience in GDPR compliance projects, being an active member of the Laboratory of Law and Informatics. She speaks English and French fluently.
