Pierrina Koriatopoulou

Pierrina KORIATOPOULOU has studied law at the University of Athens, she has two LLMs, one on Intellectual Property Law and one on Information Law both from the Paris II University, she holds a PhD from the University of Athens. Pierrina has high experience in EU Law relating Intellectual Property Rights and Data Protection and works as a qualified lawyer registered to Athens Bar Association since 1987. She is a legal consultant to the Open Hellenic University, participates as an IP expert in European Commission projects in Turkey, Albania, Cyprus, Azerbaijan and Armenia and has been a collaborator of the Association of Judicial Studies on the Project entitled “Contribution towards an Effective Justice”.

She is also member of ALAI (Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale) and General Secretary of the Hellenic group of ALAI, she contributes as a commentator on Intellectual Property Rights and Data Law Cases in numerous law reviews. Her published work includes the books: Contract limitations on the exploitation of Copyright, 1994, and Glossary of intellectual property terms and definitions (in collaboration with Ch. Tsigou), 2008.
